As the enhancement and renovation project of the special exhibition featuring the painted terracotta warriors from the Western Han Dynasty at Xianyang Museum reaches its official completion, it will be open to the public starting from July 26th. Citizens and visitors are cordially invited to attend and explore this remarkable exhibition.

The enhancement and renovation project of the special exhibition featuring the painted terracotta warriors from the Western Han Dynasty at Xianyang Museum was initiated in June of this year. This project not only improved the artistic lighting in the exhibition halls but also upgraded the decorative environment and repaired aging and damaged facilities.

It is understood that the "Rebirth of the Western Han Legion" exhibition of the painted terracotta warriors at Xianyang Museum, is one of the thematic displays with an exhibition area of approximately 700 square meters, showcasing over 1,600 cultural relics. These Western Han terracotta warriors, discovered in the 1960s, constitute one of the most significant archaeological findings in China and the earliest large-scale terracotta warrior group discovered to date. They provide valuable physical evidence for the study of the Western Han burial system, military development, costume system, and ceramic sculpture art.
