The Xinjiang High Oleic Acid Peanut Whole Industry Chain Demonstration Park Project is an important part of the Agricultural Base of the SCO to build an international and domestic high oleic acid peanut industry chain system.The project plans to gradually promote the construction of a total of 33,333.33 acres of high-oleic peanut planting demonstration bases in various parts of Xinjiang in five years,improve land utilization,optimize planting structure and create a modern agricultural whole industry chain experimental demonstration area featuring the combination of planting and breeding through the rotation of peanut,wheat,corn and other crops.The project will rely on Yangling,base in Xinjiang and radiate to the SCO in the coming 10 years,and promote the cultivation of more than 10 million mu of high-oleic peanuts in Xinjiang and Central Asian countries,achieving the goal of replacing 10%of imported soybeans,and further implement the major strategic deployment of national food security.
